"Strength Among Us "
One may argue that women have more obstacles than her counterpart in most cases. Many find the most interesting and also challenging parts of being a female artist is how we juggle between making ends meet whilst also having the time to make sure our art keeps growing beautifully. Apart from that, we are all part or head of a family that beckons attention if not more from ourselves that our creative processes.
As a curator, I wanted to showcase works with a strong inimitable feminine voice. I looked for quality, execution, innovative use of materials, and a clear creative voice. In this showcase of women artists, I believe I’ve incorporated pieces illustrating the strength of women in today’s art world.
